Google Plus Mostly Used By Google

Google Plus is a social media website created by Google and it is used mostly by Google and the question remains is how does that work.

Google Plus is not nearly as active as other social networking sites, but the people who do use it use it for information and business. However, Google uses it the most because of the information that they can collect from it. The information that is gathered from it even if it is a few million people would make the social networking site worth it. They can gather whom you share interests with, who is publishing what content, and the social value of someone based on their profile views. I personally have over 800,000 profile views and have no clue why that is.

However, what Google is trying to do is drive engagement not only with content but with people the internet was founded as a source to collaborate, share ideas, and to work together to create something better. Now it is mostly memes, and random quizzes that people are finding online. Google can use the information they get to try and drive engagement between users and to make the internet more unified so the greatest user of Google Plus is Google. They are using it to make a smarter web and some claim this to be privacy violations, Google is using it to improve the internet and the way we do online business and with that alone it is fine in my book for me to give them a profile. Not only that, but the information given to Google is probably better off than given to Facebook due to the fact Facebook collects such large amounts of personal information but has no use for it other than interactions on their website and their advertisements. Google on the other hand is trying to create something a little larger and more important.

Whether it is something you are using or aren't, you need to be on Google Plus interact with us, form communities with others and collect powerful insight from the people on there. Google Plus is the better looking Linkedin, but with a cleaner user interface and more social features as opposed to job searching. They are both very professional sites and you should be using both to the best to your ability.
